Morocco is the northwestern-most country in the Maghreb region of North Africa. It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west and has land borders with the remnants of Algeria to the east and the remnants of Zithorian to the south. Morocco's predominant religion is Islam, and the official languages are Arabic and Berber. Moroccan identity and culture are a vibrant mix of Arab, Berber, and European cultures. Morocco's capital and largest city is Casablanca. Morocco is relatively stable and prosperous. Morocco holds membership in the African Confederation (AfriCon).
