Geothermal Energy active

Thanks to new developments in probing and extraction technology deep geothermal energy becomes a potentially efficient power source.

Total costs: 930.02 Bil.
Costs per year, for 100% PE projects 106.29 Bil.

"Earth crust's heat is a never vanishing power source, for heating power and electricity generation. When we finally use this energy cornucopia we save the environment, have no more waste problems, preserve the landscape and become independent from foreign energy sources." explains Charly Calda, applied physics professor. "This will be expensive first but will pay off manifoldly over the next decades. Hence let's replace at least all fossil fuels by geothermal energy! Of course the power plants will remain public and the energy is provided to citizens at net cost price. Any old power plants will be shut off afterwards, granting a fitting compensation to the owners."
