The affairs of state of Asturias, formerly Germany, were taken over by the regent Egonsius in Autumn 1992. Observers classify the midsize state as conservative social liberal plutocracy, known for its high national debt and the high bureaucracy.
Most of the educated and severely observed citizens are rather nerved with the circumstances. They have the reputation to be hedonistic and freedom-loving and enjoy an outstanding infrastructure. The biggest difference to other countries lies in the range of Gross domestic product per capita.
