Formed in the Great Basin Desert, Maruchicanny was formed from a small collection of wandering communities. Named for a popular food of the time, Maruchicanny grew from a city state to a nation bound together. Their wealth grew as did their need to expand outward. It was this need to expand that led to the creation of the republic. Due to the dissimilar political views and the vast distances that the Maruchicanny people lived from one another, a weakly bound form of government was needed. After the first meeting of the individuals, Maruchicanny had its republic. The republic was founded on the ideal of limited and specifically prescribed government. Nowhereman is the third in a line of Regents. It is with him the unified cities of Maruchicanny enter their first golden age.
