The affairs of state of Ossetia, formerly Germany, were taken over by the regent soslan in Winter 1992. Observers classify the midsize state as progressive social liberal party-democracy, known for its high tax burden and the low crime rate.
Most of the very educated and egalitarian citizens are very discontent with the circumstances. They have the reputation to be sportive and freedom-loving and enjoy an outstanding infrastructure. The biggest difference to other countries lies in the range of Gross domestic product per capita.
