RE: Obama versus Clinton
i like obama on the democratic side, but after all is said and done i will probably end up voting for mccain. we need a candidate that works the party lines really well as mccain does.

I'm not crazy about McCain, but he is far better than Obama or Clinton. The quality of politicians has been very low in America for a few decades now and it continues to decline. We simply have to pick the best of the worst and move on.
But McCain will do a decent job of working with both parties and will remove most of Bush's insane policies.

No, he won't. Trust me.

RE: Obama versus Clinton
i like obama, hes not liberal like clinton and he actually knows whats GOOD for america unlike clinton who doesnt even fully answer the questions and ofter lies or distracts voters with useless monologues but if clinton does make it to elections im voting for mccain, and to reply on a post i saw earlier on this thread, communism and socailism aren't represented in america for many reasons, 1, no true american would even THINK of voting for a communist/socailist, 2 communism would go down on of the two paths it always does, the first being it leades to a third world country or a country with a vast population of poor or homlesss people where cheap labour is used to feed products to other countries for a profit which onkly the government recieves until distributing it thruoghout the poorly paid population, the second being that communism usually leads to dictatorship and total control of immigration and civil rights causing us to shut out most or all outward communication so that the general population is deaf and blind so they think they actually are getting a good life here, and as for socailism, it leads to communism and too much welfare with incredibly high taxes.

RE: Obama versus Clinton
Gregrocks, you probably don't pay attention to a lot of the details. We currently use a lot of socialistic policies under a somewhat capitalist economy. I would contend we are growing further in this direction of a more more socialistic or authoritarian government under increasingly polarizing from the two parties. They mostly agree on everything, they just argue about how to do it. They certainly agree on expanding the government's power whatever the cost.
