Furthermore, you're using guilt by association; just because an extremist says she supporters a candidate for loony reason does not mean that said candidate supports the rationale the supporter uses or the views of the supporter herself.
Clinton actually accepted Coulter's support (albeit mildly):

But that's not even what I'm driving at. What is key is that a radical conservative views Obama and Clinton as more conservative than the Republican. It shows me that McCain is a true moderate and one who will break apart the old Bush regime mentality. Clinton and Obama can't or won't do that and radical conservatives know it.
I thought this election would be a golden opportunity for democrats to really punish Republicans for the last 8 years of hell, but then again, I thought that 4 years ago too. Democrats screwed it up in 2004 and will do it again in 2008. I could hardly imagine worse candidates than Obama and Clinton. A racist and a radical. Great, just what we need.

What we desperately need is a compromise candidate like Al Gore. In fact, many Democrats are calling on him to step in and save the Democratic Party.
From an article I just read:
"Earlier this week, Democratic Rep. Tim Mahoney of Florida suggested Gore, the party’s 2000 presidential nominee, could assume the role of a compromise candidate if neither Hillary Clinton nor Barack Obama could broker a deal. If it goes into the convention, don’t be surprised if someone different is at the top of the ticket,” he told a Florida newspaper, adding Gore could be that choice.
Al Gore is a good strong moderate and he's already won a presidential election!
I think he's the Democrats only hope now.
Well, in any case I am
very curious how he would manage the job as President. Unfortunately the economic situation, left by the Bush-regime, is not an easy initial position

Nope. It's not! Most analysts are saying the US is plunging into a recession and maybe even a depression is on the way. I've already seen lots of people struggling.
But for many, it's their own fault. You buy a house for $600,000, have an adjustable rate mortgage that climbs to $5,000 a month, cry about it, and then demand that the government bails you out.
Our economy is purely driven by INCREASING consumption such as wanting more, bigger, and better everything. If you slow down how much we consume, the economy will crash down. This was always inevitable, it just needed the right set of circumstances like an expensive war, high oil cost, crashing housing market, and no planning.
I don't think McCain, Obama, or Clinton has any idea what to do about it. Other than the usual tell everyone it's all ok even if it's not. If you have a job hold on tight to it for the next few years.
