Being away for a while

After coming back from a 5-day long trip to Scotland, I noticed my nation has gone terribly "ill" during my away-time. 48% of the population has turned into extremists, inflation has gone up, the nation has become a "plutocracy", my popularity has vanished, and much more.

This is deeply problematic. Can't I put my nation on hold, and freeze the timeline, so I won't lose everything for being on vacation?

RE: Being away for a while

Was that bug responsible for this chaos?
I suppose it was rather me not logging in for 5 days.

EDIT: I just want an opportunity to put my nation on hold, if there already isn't one?

You are welcome to set it back to Monday 31th March Smile.

And oddly, the Comparisons and Regent details remain the very same as before you set the nation back 8 quarters

Alright! Smile. Thx.
But I still wonder; Why should this be forced by a bug, when a was away from the computer through the week and didn't have access to the internet? The quarters are meant to pass through automatically, aren't they?
